Spider-Man: Far From Home is finally in theaters, and it delivered by giving us two post-credits scenes. While I thought what we got was already fun, there's this silly video of Jake Gyllenhaal playing Mysterio in a home video that director Jon Watts thinks should have been a post-credits scene as well.
It's basically just Gyllenhaal in a fishbowl helmet trying to eat:
Watts even commented on the post and said, "This should have been our post-credits tag."
I do have to say, the material we've seen of Mysterio in the trailers barely scratches the surface of what he can do in the actual movie. I have to give kudos to Gyllenhaal for bringing the character to life, and Watts as well for giving us an insane sequence that was so true Mysterio, I was amazed they managed to pull it off in the film.
I'm not going to say much more for fear that I could spoil something, but I think the movie handled the characterization of Mysterio pretty well and gave him some good backstory when it came to bringing him into the MCU.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
