Joe Jonas recently shared his surprising take on South Park's infamous parody of the Jonas Brothers.

In a 2009 episode of the hit series titled "The Ring," the band was portrayed as a marketing tactic by Disney, where they sell purity rings to secretly sell sex to their young fans. It was widely praised by fans as one of the best episodes in the thirteenth season.

In a recent interview, Jonas shared his reaction to the South Park episode that parodied him and his brothers.

"Our skin was not as thick back then," he admitted.

However, Jonas noted that he loved the episode, and he felt honored that the series aimed at them.

"I think I was the only brother that loved it. I thought it was hilarious, because I watched South Park, and I was like, 'This is so funny, I know what they're doing, they make fun of everyone!'" he said.

"To be made fun of by a comic is usually a sign that they give a sh*t, and they care, and it's funny. They really went for us."

Jonas also felt that the episode was poking fun at Disney more, rather than him and his brothers.

"I think they were going more so on, like, the idea of what it is. I mean, what an honor to get my ass kicked by Mickey. I think it's one of my favorite episodes. And later on, now, we just laugh. We love that. I think it's so great. Definitely a claim-to-fame for me," he said.

What is the Latest Update on Joe Jonas?

Jonas recently released his second sophomore album, Music For People Who Believe in Love. It consists of 14 tracks, including a collaboration with his brother Frankie.

He also revealed in a recent interview that he is dating again after his divorce from Sophie Turner, and it even inspired one of the songs in the album.

"I was seeing somebody at the time, and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. It was really scary and intimidating. Love takes different shapes and forms, and I was re-discovering what that was," Jonas said.

The unnamed woman "comically" brushed off Jonas's concern by saying, "Well, it’s only love."

Jonas added, "I was like, ‘Well, when you put it that way…’ So we wrote a song about it. Like, it was not a big deal, but it was a big deal to me, and a big deal to them, too. But it’s okay to take a leap of faith and just try again and put yourself out there."

Turner has also shown her support for the release of Jonas's new album to the surprise of many fans.
