Marvel fans might have been devastated after word came out that the Spider-Man agreement between Sony and Disney had fallen through because of failed negotiations, but it looks like Spider-Man: Far From Home fan doesn't feel like there isn't really much to worry about.
A Marvel fan decided to ask Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Jacob Batlon (Ned Leeds) what he thought about the whole "Spider-Man drama" on Instagram and it looks like the Marvel actor isn't really that worried at all. Responding to the question posed at him, Batalon simply shrugged the thought away with an emoji, responding in his Instagram story (via ComicBook.com) that the whole affair "Really isn't a big deal."
Batalon is really taking the news pretty well. Fans, on the other hand, are worrying endlessly over the failed negotiations. Fans fell in love with Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man ever since he first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, calling the British actor's iteration of the character the very best to appear on the big screen. Not only did Holland's Peter Parker fit in well in the MCU, but he also played well with other major Marvel characters like Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.
Luckily, word on the street says that Disney is trying to renegotiate with Sony, so fans can hold on to the hope that Spider-Man remains in the MCU. Of course, we'll have to wait a bit longer just to be sure.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to receive its digital release sometime in October.
