Spider-Man Actor Tom Holland Reportedly Unfollowed Sony On Instagram

Spider-Man star Tom Holland may seem to be keeping quiet amidst the chaos brought on about by the news that Disney's Spider-Man deal with Sony has fallen through, however, it seems like the Avengers: Endgame star may have actually unfollowed Sony on Instagram after the studio cut ties with the Mickey Mouse House.

According to MCU Cosmic writer Jeremy Conrad, Holland just recently decided to unfollow Sony on his official Instagram account, a move which can only be seen as a response to the broken deal between the studio and Disney. This might be Holland's way of reacting to the ordeal – the Marvel star has been notably silent on the news with social media posts about new cars and whatnot.

Still, even though Holland did decide to unfollow Sony, the company is reportedly planning to produce two more Spider-Man movies with the British actor as their Peter Parker. Of course, there are a lot of questions regarding these projects. How exactly will Sony bring Peter Parker out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe knowing that he's been so intricately tied with the rest of the Avengers? Does this mean that we'll get to see Spider-Man go up against Venom?

We're honestly hoping that Sony finds a way to rekindle the deal with Disney. It's hard to see Spider-Man in Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters after all the time that he's spent with Marvel and everyone was excited to see Peter Parker in a third Marvel Spider-Man movie. Let's cross our fingers and wait and see what happens from here on out.
