Spider-Man 3 might be the most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie in the next few years since it means that Peter Parker will be back for more action. However, there could be another reason why fans should be looking forward to the third Spider-Man film. A new report claims that the follow-up to Spider-Man: Far From Home could finally introduce Miss Marvel to the MCU.
The report from We Got This Covered cites an anonymous source who reveals that Spider-Man 3 will feature another Avenger. Although the identity of the Marvel superhero was not revealed, there are speculations that it could be Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, or Miss Marvel.
So which of these Avengers will show up in Spider-Man 3? For now, it seems unlikely that it would be the Sorcerer Supreme since he is set to star in his own sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. There is a bigger chance that Carol Danvers will show up in the third Spider-Man movie since the two worked together briefly in Avengers: Endgame. On the other hand, Kamala Khan seems like the best character for Tom Holland to collaborate with in his next movie.
We already know that Miss Marvel is getting her own Disney+ series although it has not yet been given an official release date. With that in mind, fans are hoping that Kamala will first be introduced in a major MCU film before she gets to star in her own show. Considering that Kamala is pretty similar to Peter, it's no surprise that people are hoping that she will work with the webslinger on his next film. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.
