During his Sunday night Twitch stream of CS:GO, Shroud casually announced that he will be playing at the VCT. "We're going to get owned, but whatever," Shroud said. Rumors about his return have been circulating online in the past few weeks, and the popular Twitch streamer has been out of the competitive scene for a long time since he's been focused on being a full-time streamer and content creator. However, Shroud is still considered to be one of the best FPS players in the world.

The former Cloud9 CS: GO pro player last played competitively in 2017, and now Shroud is back to competitive play, but this time, it's for Riot Games' tactical shooter, VALORANT, and he is bringing a stacked team.

Shroud's VALORANT Team for the VCT

Some of the names in Shroud's new VALORANT team may be familiar to CS: GO fans.

Timmy "iiTzTimmy" An
Skyler "Relyks" Weaver
Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo
ShawnBM

Skyler "Relyks" Weaver and Leonardo "Laski" Arroyo are both ex-CS:GO players; they're both retired from Valve's shooter, but they're now teaming-up with Shroud for VALORANT. However, not everyone is from CS:GO; iiTzTimmy is an Apex Legends pro/VALORANT player, and ShawnBM is a VALORANT content creator.

Right after VALORANT launched last year, Shroud explained why he's not returning to the competitive scene even though he thinks VALORANT is a great game, but it looks like he's changed his mind recently, and fans are excited to see him back.
