Save Spider-Man Movement Making Waves On Twitter

The deal between Marvel and Sony regarding Spider-Man's stay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has somehow fallen through, and Marvel fans couldn't be more devastated about the news.

Not only has Tom Holland's version of Spider-Man been considered as the very best live-action version of the web-slinger, but almost everyone can agree that Peter Parker definitely thrives the best in the realm of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now, with so many reports going on about how negotiations between Sony and Disney failed to come through, Marvel fans have gone on Twitter to show their support for Spidey in the MCU, calling out to others to #SaveSpiderMan.

Though Cosmic Book News claims that the hashtag was first created by a fake bot army, the #SaveSpiderMan movement has been gaining traction on the site. The hashtag has found itself on Twitter's trending list in the US as fans come together to express their concerns about the broken deal between Sony and Disney.

Check out some of the tweets down here:

We definitely understand the heartache and the shock that Marvel fans are going through. Tom Holland's version of Peter Parker fit perfectly in the MCU and his films were earning a lot. Spider-Man: Far From Home even managed to cross the $1 billion mark – the very first live-action Spider-Man movie to make that much for Sony.

Right now, we have so many questions about Spider-Man's future. Will Tom Holland's Spider-Man continue on outside of the MCU? Will he join Sony's Universe of Marvel characters instead?

Let's wait and see.
