Fans recently rejoiced when it was revealed that Spider-Man: Far From Home would be released a few days earlier than originally scheduled. However, it looks like a few key sequences in the sequel will need to be filmed again. Samuel L. Jackson has just confirmed that he needs to go back into the studio to reshoot some scenes featuring Nick Fury.
Jackson shared an interesting photo on his official Instagram account. The image shows the actor holding Fury's iconic eye patch. Check it out below.
"Just when you think you have a day off... this happens!" Jackson wrote, adding the hashtags #spidermanfarfromhome, #hitmanswifesbodyguard, and #reshootsorenhancementshots.
The Avengers: Infinity War star had already completed work on Far From Home last year and is currently working on the sequel The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard. However, it looks like he needs to put on the eye patch again to play Fury for the Sony movie.
Although we're sure that Fury will be back in Far From Home, it is still unclear if Jackson will have a cameo in Avengers: Endgame. After all, his character was last seen turning into dust in the Infinity War post-credits scene right after he sent a message out to Captain Marvel. Hopefully, we'll get to see Fury being brought back this April.
The synopsis for Far From Home reads as follows:
"Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter's plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!"
Spider-Man: Far From Home will hit theaters on July 2.
