Deadpool and Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman recently opened up about their potential involvement in the upcoming Avengers movies.
Fans have been looking forward to the upcoming film since it will mark the first official team-up between the titular heroes in the MCU and it is expected to explore the multiverse with cameos from the Fox movies.
While we're still a couple of weeks away from its release, there are already questions about the MCU future of the actors and whether they will be involved in more projects after Deadpool and Wolverine.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Play Coy on Avengers Involvement
In a recent interview, Reynolds and Jackman were asked about their potential involvement in the upcoming Avengers movies.
As expected, both played coy in their response as they didn't give any confirmation about returning to the MCU team-up projects.
Reynolds responded, "I don’t know. Yeah, we’ll see. Yeah."
"Clearly, this is our first major interview of this press tour. I’m not sure how to answer," Jackman said.
Director Shawn Levy, who is reportedly the top choice to helm Avengers 5, noted, "We’re going to get a far more packed and evasive answer for all future interviews."
Up to this day, Marvel Studios has not confirmed any castings yet for the upcoming Avengers movie, but they might reveal some details in their upcoming San Diego Comic-Con Hall H presentation.
There are also rumors that Jackman is committed to sticking in his iconic role for a few more projects such as the upcoming Avengers movies, but neither Marvel nor Jackman have confirmed it.
A lot of fans would be happy if Reynolds and Jackman end up joining the upcoming Avengers movies as well and, hopefully, we will finally get more information about their MCU future soon.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
