A recent rumor has claimed that Hugh Jackman is set to make more appearances as Wolverine in the MCU after Deadpool and Wolverine.
Fans have been looking forward to seeing Jackman reprise his iconic role in the upcoming MCU film since he will be sporting Wolverine's iconic yellow suit for the first time in his tenure.
There are also questions regarding Jackman's future in the MCU following the release of Deadpool and Wolverine and whether he will be sticking as Wolverine for the rest of the Multiverse Saga.
Hugh Jackman Will Reportedly Continue as Wolverine in the MCU
Insider Daniel Richtman claimed in his recent scoop that Hugh Jackman is sticking around as Wolverine "for a bit more" in the MCU after Deadpool and Wolverine.
So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the claims that were made in Richtman's scoop.
If Jackman ends up continue playing Wolverine in the MCU, it wouldn't be surprising for many fans since he has been vocal about his love for the character throughout his tenure in the role.
There have also been rumors that Jackman might return in Avengers: Secret Wars, which is expected to be a major multiversal crossover and conclude the Multiverse Saga. Fans have speculated that it could be the actor's next MCU project.
Recently, Jackman opened up about his return as Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine where he called it a fresh take on the character compared to the Fox X-Men movies.
"I feel in many ways fans of Wolverine — because of Deadpool, because of [Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy], are going to see a fuller, more different side to him than you've seen before. And that was thrilling for me, and I hope it is for you," he said.
It is interesting to see whether Marvel Studios will confirm Jackman's future MCU appearances post-Deadpool and Wolverine, and hopefully, we will learn about it soon.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
