Rin Nanakura likes to channel different personalities to fulfill Eiji Kitahama’s harem dream in Pseudo Harem.
From yandere-chan to spoiled-chan, Rin expertly captures Eiji’s heart in the most unexpected ways in the hit romance comedy anime of the summer season.
Yandere-chan
Yandere-chan debuted in the fourth episode of Pseudo Harem, and as expected, she caught Eiji off guard with her obsessive and violent demeanor.
Rin managed to give Eiji the chills with her version of yandere, warning him not to talk to other girls or even lay eyes on them.
She also intimidated Eiji, insisting that he should have no interest in anyone except her.
Rin’s portrayal is textbook yandere, as her expression exudes the intense and unreasonable possessiveness she has over her love interest.
Cool-chan
Cool-chan is Rin’s most confident personality, showing her true feelings without any embarrassment. She can meet Eiji's gaze directly and say things Rin’s real self could never express.
Cool-chan often exudes the aura of the perfect protagonist, effortlessly attracting others. Her serious and cold demeanor alone is enough to make Eiji fall in love with her.
Cheeky-chan / Little Devil Girl
The little devil girl personality is a dubious one, as she revels in teasing Eiji at every opportunity.
Fearless and mischievous, she plays with Eiji’s feelings to the point that she almost surpasses her spoiled personality.
Eiji remains cautious around her but still enjoys her quirks, as they fulfill his harem dream.
Despite his reluctance to admit it, he finds himself drawn to being manipulated by her antics.
Spoiled-chan
Spoiled-chan wields significant power, as she can make Eiji do anything for her, from completing her assignments and projects to fetching all the sweets and goodies she desires.
Even Eiji recognizes Spoiled-chan's incredible influence, noting that she can get anything she wants from him simply by desiring it.
However, channeling Spoiled-chan is quite embarrassing for Rin, as it requires a great deal of courage and confidence to act like an excessively pampered and indulged girl.
Tsundere-chan
Perhaps Tsundere-chan is one of Eiji’s favorite personalities of Rin due to her incredibly cute pigtails.
Eiji even told Rin that Tsundere-chan looks better than the other girls, likely because of her flushed cheeks and passive-aggressive demeanor.
Rin expertly portrays a mix of harshness and affection as Tsundere-chan, hiding her true feelings behind a façade of antagonism.
Despite her efforts to conceal her affection, it clearly shines through her exterior.
Rin’s Normal Self
For Eiji, Rin’s normal self is the cutest and most special because he can interact with her comfortably and without any awkwardness.
He finds Rin’s genuine self incredibly endearing, appreciating her honesty about her feelings.
Although Rin can channel many personalities, her real self faces significant struggles.
From difficulty expressing her true affection for Eiji to career challenges, Rin has to put in a lot of work and effort to improve herself.
