Possible New Details for Doctor Strange 2 Reveal New Characters

Avengers: Endgame is finally out of the way, and Marvel Studios can now reveal to us what's coming for Phase 4. We know that a sequel to Doctor Strange is in the works, and we may have some new details about the film.

This comes from Roger Wardell on Twitter:

Admittedly the source is kind of a mystery online. The only thing credible about him is back in December 2018, he was able to leak some very true information about Endgame from Thor becoming fat and James D'Arcy reprising the role of Jarvis. This guy looks to be a real insider in Marvel Studios, and I'm sure he would like to keep his identity secret before he gets fired or anything.

Going back to the info though, Jericho Drumm is known as Brother Voodoo in the comics, and he was upgraded into Doctor Voodoo when he replaced Strange as Sorcerer Supreme in the comics. Clea, on the other hand, was Strange's disciple and niece to Dormammu. She was also a love interest at some point, so I guess we could be saying goodbye to Christine Palmer in the franchise.

Of course, there's still a possibility that a lot of these elements are going to change when it comes to the final movie, but I guess it's a great way to expand the lore moving forward.

No release date has been set for the Doctor Strange sequel, but maybe the film could come out sometime late 2020 or early 2021.
