How Spider-Man: Far From Home Changes Peter and May's Relationship

Now that Avengers: Endgame has been shown, making fans cry and cheer at the same time, we are all looking forward to that film's epilogue in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Most MCU viewers will probably see this since it takes place directly after the movie and we will get our first glimpse at a post-Iron Man MCU in this flick. It's very exciting.

One of the many things fans are curious about in this film is Peter and May's relationship. Those that saw Spider-Man: Homecoming know that May found out Peter was Spider-Man at the end of that movie, ending on a high note. The teaser trailer gave us a glimpse at their new relationship, with May seemingly cool with Peter being Spider-Man.

During a set visit, ComicBook.com was able to speak with lead actor Tom Holland about their relationship. Here is what he had to say:

This relationship should be very familiar to fans who read Brian Michael Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man. When Peter Parker was still the lead, he had to eventually tell Aunt May that he was Spider-Man. She freaked out at first and even wanted to kick him out of the house but after things calmed down, May decided to support him. It looks like MCU Peter and May have already gone through this arc, though we will likely see bits and pieces of this in the movie.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be coming to theaters on July 2.
