Many fans were let down when Edgar Wright left Marvel's Ant-Man a couple of years ago since the director is just so well known and talented. His Cornetto Trilogy of films (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End) are instant classics, while his film adaptation of Scott Pilgrim was incredible. It's a shame that we will likely never see Wright work on a Marvel movie but it seems like he isn't too bitter as he congratulated James Gunn for getting his job back.
Hilariously, Wright didn't post a standard congratulatory post but instead shared a short conversation he had with Gunn on social media. It's a cute little exchange as the director simply said YEEEES and LOVE IT. Honestly, that was everyone when Gunn was rehired so don't act like Wright is the only one who would act like that.
Also; can we please get Wright to direct a Marvel movie? Maybe a DC one?
Speaking of Ant-Man, the size-changing hero will be one of the biggest parts of Avengers: Endgame, presumably taking our heroes to the Quantum Realm and taking them to the past. How or why is still out of the question and the trailers have done a great job at getting us hyped up. Can we please see this movie already?
Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 does not have a release date.
