Netflix's The Witcher is coming out in a couple of weeks and we're all pretty pumped to see how the show is going to compare to the books and video games. We know that the first season won't be able to cover the first book but we've been assured that the show is going to make some interesting changes to the lore, including introducing characters like Yennefer and Ciri early.
Well, for fans of The Witcher and its early unconnected short stories, there's even more good news for you! Netflix's The Witcher showrunner, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, confirmed that the show will connect those short stories that had nothing to do with each other, giving us a more cohesive narrative, which is needed for television.
Here's what the showrunner told GameSpot:
It's cool seeing Hissrich rise to the occasion and connecting previously unrelated short stories is a pretty cool notion. Hopefully, they do this in a way that feels natural and compelling, though we'll have to wait and see.
Netflix's The Witcher comes out on December 20, the same day as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
