Marvel’s Robert Downey Jr. Crashed Rolling Stones Concert For NASA Announcement

Now that he's done playing Iron Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems like Robert Downey Jr. is busying himself by making all sorts of science-related stunts, including crashing a Rolling Stones concert just so that he could announce a new NASA discovery on Mars.

Earlier this week, RDJ decided to take to Twitter to share a riddle involving The Rolling Stones, NASA, and the cosmos. Posting on his official Twitter account, the Marvel star shared a video asking fans to guess "What do the Rolling Stones, NASA, and the Rose Bowl and the ruling planet of my birth sign have in common?"

Turns out, the answer's a pretty cool science announcement. Downey decided to crash a Rolling Stones concert in Los Angeles to break the big news – NASA just found a new rock on the surface of Mars and it looks like it's been officially named after the rock n' roll band.

A little larger than a golf ball, this rock was named the "Rolling Stones Rock" after it rolled about 3 feet – the farthest that NASA has ever seen the rock roll while landing on another planet. This rolling incident happened on November 26 last year and was captured by NASA's InSight Lander after it landed on the Red Planet.

Guess it was really fun to see NASA name the rock the "Rolling Stones Rock." Pretty fun and innovative. It was also pretty cool that RDJ decided to crash a Rolling Stones concert just to let the band know the fun news.

Avengers: Endgame is available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
