Marvel's Avengers Voice Actors Were Blown Away by The Game's Graphics

Marvel's Avengers initially got a mixed reaction when the very first trailer was released but fans who were able to witness the gameplay at E3 or SDCC said that the game looked great. We'll have to wait till Gamescom ends before the gameplay video becomes public to everyone else but at least we have something to look forward to. It seems like the voice actors are also pretty pumped since Troy Baker (Bruce Banner/Hulk) and Nolan North (Iron Man) has a lot of nice things to say about it.

According to GameByte, the two popular voice actors were at Manchester Comic-Con and gave their thoughts about the game. North said that Avengers was one of the most visually-stunning games he's ever seen, which is saying a lot since he has worked on Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4.

"You always worry that [a game] looks so good, and then you get the game and you're like, ‘oh gameplay doesn't look as good.' [Avengers] really, visually, it's one of the most stunning things I've ever seen. And obviously with The Last of Us, Uncharted, they're amazing, but [Avengers] blew me away."

Baker also chimed in, revealing that the visuals were so good that he was shocked to find out that the demo footage he saw was actual gameplay. It seems like the game will transition from cutscene to gameplay in a very smooth manner, which is what we have come to expect from Crystal Dynamics.

"It really honestly is [amazing]. I'm gonna share something with you: we saw the demo that they're gonna release a week after Gamescom…I told our director, I was like cool, that's a great demo, and I asked one question and he goes ‘No man, that's all gameplay.'…It looked like a scripted event [and I was confusing it] with gameplay."

Marvel's Avengers comes out on May 15, 2020.
