Marvel Television Has Been Rebranded Now That Kevin Feige is in Charge

Marvel Television has been on a rocky boat for some time now, due to the lack of love from the films and a poor sense of continuity. While Jeph Loeb and others tried their best, misfires like Inhumans and Iron Fist, not to mention the cancelations of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage, left Marvel Television directionless. Even shows like The Runaways have failed to make an impact, though things are likely to change now that Kevin Feige is in charge.

During the press release for Hulu's upcoming M.O.D.O.K. animated series, Marvel Television was rebranded as Marvel Television Studios, which is likely a sign that Feige will be taking these shows a bit more seriously. It was no secret that he was displeased with the way Inhumans was used, especially since Feige had plans to bring them to the big screen, so his more hands-on approach should make these shows more must-watch.

Upcoming shows like WandaVision, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and She-Hulk, among others, are set to be in the MCU. Some of them might get movies after or will set up the events for a film, with WandaVision essentially being a prologue to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Aside from feeling more important, most of us are hoping that Feige's involvement gives us better MCU shows. Yeah, they didn't "feel" important but were also lacking in quality so more focus from the big guy could help things out.

Thoughts on Marvel Television Studios and their fancy new rebranding?
