Rebecca Guay, one of the most beloved Magic: The Gathering artists best known for artworks like "Bitterblossom", "Path to Exile" and various fairy-themed cards, has uncovered a wonderful trove of her old sketchbooks with full of Magic sketches from the 90's.
In a video posted on Guay's Facebook page, the American card game and comic book illustrator shared a look at several of her old Magic sketchbooks that she found when her friend's visit prompted her husband to look in the basement. The sketchbooks feature original Magic artwork such as "Silent Attendant" and "Serra Angel".

"I can't believe. It's like unbelievable to find these," Guay said in the video.
Guay is one of my favorite Magic artists. Her visual style reminds me of Seb McKinnon's art since both of their artworks are abstract and have such an exquisite style. One of my favorite artworks from Guay is "Bitterblossom" from the Morningtide set. I still want a playmat featuring this stunning art.
Other than Magic, Guay has also illustrated for Marvel and DC Comics as well as other trading card games and RPGs such as World of Warcraft Trading Card Game and Dungeons & Dragons.
