The first season of Lycoris Recoil concluded on a high note with Chisato's confrontation with Majima atop the Enkuboku Tower.
Chisato wishes to maintain the status quo, whereas Majima seeks to restore Japan's natural balance.
With the announcement of a new Lycoris Recoil animation project, which we assumed will be a sequel, fans can expect to see more of Chisato, Takina, and the others in the LycoReco Café.
Lycoris Recoil season 2 has more stories to tell now that the heavily wounded Majima is still alive, there are still many guns in Tokyo, and the DA and Radiata are still around.

Lycoris Recoil Season 2 Release Date Predictions
There is no word yet on the release date of Lycoris Recoil season 2. The new anime project was announced on Lycoris Recoil's official X account on February 11, 2023, and no updates have been made since then.
Because Lycoris Recoil is an original anime with no source material to adapt, the second season could be released around late 2024 or early 2025. However, that prediction should be taken with a grain of salt.
Most recently, Lycoris Recoil announced a second stage play adaptation titled Butai Lycoris Recoil: Life Won't Wait (Stage Lycoris Recoil: Life Won't Wait), which will run from June 7–16, 2024, in Japan.
