During Super Bowl 20222, Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the upcoming epic fantasy series that will dive into the story imagined by J.R.R. Tolkien but never fleshed out, and it gives us a look at the tale that will be told from the Second Age of Middle-Earth.
“What else is out there,” asks an unseen narrator as the trailer fades in. The teaser hints at the danger to come for the key characters of their varied lands, but story details have been kept under wraps. The prequel series to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings will show Sauron's (currently Mairon) rise to power.
