Loki Season 2 is definitely happening. The Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con confirmed that the Disney+ series is getting a second season t and the wait for the show's return could soon be over. The Loki Season 2 release date has just been set for Summer in 2023 and fans are already getting excited about the God of MIschief's return.
We already know that Loki has been confirmed for a second season, thanks to the awesome tease in the show's first season finale. However, there were speculations that the show's return would take several years as Marvel Studios puts the focus on other previously confirmed projects.
Luckily, Loki Season 2 is coming a lot sooner than expected. The second season's release window was confirmed during Marvel's exciting panel at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. Amazingly, the God of Mischief will be back with more chaotic episodes in Summer next year and will be part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
We're loving the idea of seeing Tom Hiddleston and the other Lokis again next year. Although it has not yet been confirmed who else is returning for the second season, there's a huge chance that Sylvie will return as well as Mobius M. Mobius.
We already found out that Loki Season 2 is currently in production and several images from the set have been leaked online. In the pictures, it is confirmed that Tom Hiddleston has reunited with Owen Wilson as well as Sophia Di Martino and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Loki Season 2 will have a few major changes as Michael Waldron and Kate Herron step down as head writer and director, respectively. For the second season, Eric Martin will serve as the head writer while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead will be leading the directing team.
