Loki Series Teaser Possibly Confirmed Mephisto as New MCU Villain

We're still waiting for the first season of Loki but it looks like the series is here to stay. A new report has somehow confirmed that the upcoming Tom Hiddleston show is already confirmed for Season 2.

It was previously reported by Deadline that Loki executive producer Michael Waldron would be writing a new Star Wars film with Marvel head Kevin Feige as part of an overall deal with Disney+. Although this was the main point of the report, it also revealed some interesting information about Waldron's current project.

"Besides writing this new Star Wars film, the deal also is expected to bring back Waldron in some capacity for Season 2 of Loki. Not only is the deal a rarity at the studios, it clearly shows how much faith Disney, Marvel, and Lucasfilm have in Waldron going forward and surely should open doors for years to come and many more high-profile properties," the report reads.

Interestingly, it doesn't confirm that Waldron will continue to serve as executive producer on Loki Season 2. However, it does reveal that Disney and Marvel already have plans for a second season so Loki will not be a limited series at all.
