When the Decimation took place in Avengers: Infinity War, Clint Barton/Hawkeye's whole family turned into dust. This resulted in Hawkeye going around killing people. The monicker was never mentioned in the movie, but it is evident that they adapted the comics from which Hawkeye has turned into Ronin.
This change of character was featured in Avengers: Endgame, which has caused a burst of opinions from the fans, mostly ecstatic to find his character shown as Ronin especially when the initial trailer for Endgame was released.
In relation to that, Jeremy Renner, the actor who plays the role of Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently posted a photo on his Instagram account. The picture seems to be a never-before-seen photo of Ronin.
Along with it is Renner's caption saying, "HUMP DAY.... #roninstyle much love to you all!."
Renner's post has garnered such positive comments from fans saying that they would love to see a solo movie of Hawkeye. One example of this is a comment under the user coopa_de_coop, saying he'd pay "good money" to see him "take on the Yakuza."
Other comments come up like "Don't do that, don't give me hope," says user emeline.quach. Most of the comments under Renner's post stated how excited they are for his series to be released on Disney+ very soon.
Renner will play as the title lead in the upcoming Hawkeye series on Disney+. The story surrounds Clint Barton training the young avenger Kate Bishop to take over the role.
Although, despite reports from the series, it is unclear whether Jeremy Renner is set to continue to appear as Hawkeye in the future. Nevertheless, fans are very much overjoyed and excited for Disney+'s upcoming series.
Hawkeye is set to be released on Disney+ in Fall 2021.
