Tom Hiddleston has shared a promising update on The Night Manager Season 3 following Season 2's dramatic ending.
BBC and Amazon Prime Video have officially renewed the hit spy thriller for a third season, with Hiddleston revealing that Seasons 2 and 3 were deliberately planned as a two-volume story.
With nearly a decade separating the releases of Seasons 1 and 2, will fans have to wait just as long for Season 3?
Is The Night Manager Season 3 Already in Production?

The Night Manager Season 3 is reportedly in active development, though it has not yet been confirmed whether production has officially begun.
However, Tom Hiddleston has confirmed that work on the series is progressing behind the scenes, with the creative team continuing to develop the story.
"I can tell you it's coming along," the actor told Radio Times while promoting his new documentary series, Pompeii: Out of Time. "It's one of the most profound and significant pieces of work in my acting life. I'm so grateful to The Ink Factory for including me in the journey of generating the material now as we imagine how to develop the story further."
Despite premiering a decade ago, the Avengers: Doomsday star said his portrayal of Jonathan Pine continues to resonate with him.
"I love the story because it's contemporary. I love the character. Jonathan Pine is, without question, one of my favorite characters I've ever played," he continued.
Beyond his personal connection to the character, Hiddleston also teased that the third season will be closely tied to current events.
"I would say our discussions about The Night Manager 3 are very alive right now and very connected to the conversation about our lives right now and the direction of travel in the UK," he added. "As we know from the ending of Season 2, Jonathan Pine finds himself in a tight spot... wait and see, it's exciting stuff."
What to Expect from The Night Manager Season 3?

Based on John le Carré's novel of the same name, The Night Manager premiered in February 2016. However, it wasn't renewed for a second and third season until 2024.
Season 2 officially premiered in February 2026. With Season 3 now in active development, fans likely won't have to wait another decade for the story to continue.
The second season reunited Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman while introducing a new conspiracy centered on Colombian arms dealer Teddy Dos Santos.
It ended on a devastating cliffhanger, with Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston) left gravely wounded in the jungle after Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie) gained the upper hand once again.
With most of Pine's allies dead, including Angela Burr (Colman), Roper's power and influence have never been greater.
However, Pine's story is far from over. Hiddleston previously told IndieWire that the new season will pick up directly where Season 2 ended, with Pine stranded in the jungle and no help in sight.
With a civil war brewing in Colombia, Season 3 has the opportunity to explore even more complex political and personal conflicts when it finally premieres.
As Season 3 is currently the final confirmed installment of the series, it's only a matter of time before fans learn the ultimate fate of Pine and Roper.
The Night Manager is available to stream on Prime Video.
