The Night Manager is arguably one of the slickest spy thrillers on TV, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie in the lead roles.

From the incredible performances of its stellar cast to the high-stakes danger and intelligent plotline, it’s easy to see why the British series became a critical and audience favorite when it premiered in 2016. And just when fans thought a second season would never happen, Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston) is back after almost a decade!

Here’s where to watch The Night Manager online, and how you can use top VPNs, such as ExpressVPN or VeePN, if the series isn’t available in your country.

Where to Watch The Night Manager

Based on John le Carré’s acclaimed 1993 novel of the same name, The Night Manager follows former British soldier Jonathan Pine, who is recruited by intelligence officer Angela Burr (Olivia Colman) to infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie) while working as the night manager of a luxury hotel.

For fans looking to rewatch or new viewers eager to discover it, here’s where to watch The Night Manager from the start:

How to Use a VPN to Watch The Night Manager

Since streaming availability varies by region, not all shows are accessible in every country. That’s where a VPN comes in handy, allowing viewers to watch The Night Manager from outside a supported region.

A VPN works by masking your IP address, making it appear as though you’re browsing from another country. This lets you access streaming platforms like BBC iPlayer or Prime Video, where the series is available, no matter where you are.

A good VPN doesn’t just unblock content; it can also boost streaming speeds and minimize annoying buffering. That’s why picking a dependable provider like ExpressVPN or VeePN is key. Both offer fast, stable connections and excellent unblocking power for smooth, uninterrupted viewing.

ExpressVPN boasts lightning-fast speeds across 3,000+ servers globally, while VeePN gives an affordable option at $1.99/month with 2,600+ servers.

If you want to watch The Night Manager without interruptions, these two VPNs have you covered.

After much speculation following the first season’s conclusion in 2016, The Night Manager was finally renewed for second and third seasons in 2024.

The show returns after a decade-long hiatus, with the first episode, which aired specially on January 1 on BBC One, revealing that Pine’s adversary, Roper, has died at the hands of his Syrian captors.

Now living under the name Alex Goodwin, Pine works as a low-ranking MI6 officer. However, after encountering Roper’s former associate, his life is once again thrown into turmoil.

The second episode premiered in its usual timeslot on Sunday, January 4, and the remainder of the six-episode series will continue airing every Sunday. The second season is set to officially end on February 1.

The first and second episodes are already available for streaming on BBC iPlayer, and the series will begin streaming worldwide on Prime Video starting January 11.
