Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about a potential Friends reunion following the tragic passing of her late co-star Matthew Perry.
The beloved '90s sitcom remains one of the most popular shows to this day, as audiences are still discovering it on streaming, and it continues to have a dedicated fanbase. However, with the passing of Perry two years ago, some fans are wondering whether the remaining cast members are still open to doing another reunion show.
Is Jennifer Aniston Open to Doing a Friends Reunion After Matthew Perry's Passing?

Speaking with Harper's Bazaar UK, Aniston was asked whether she is still open to another Friends reunion in the aftermath of Perry's death in 2023.
She shot down the possibility of revisiting the series in a potential reboot or sequel series. "It would be literally, physically impossible," she said.
Aniston went on to reflect on Perry's passing and the personal struggles he went through in his final years, and his resiliency in facing them.
"It's heartbreaking that he had so many demons. But boy, for someone who had that much inner turmoil, he sure got to laugh a lot, and that was everything to him," she said.
The actress also looked back on the time when she worked on the series and the memories that she made with her co-stars, with whom she remains friends to this day.
"It completely formed who I was. It was pure joy. I looked forward to it every day. I couldn't wait to get to work. I couldn't wait to see those people," Aniston shared.
"I couldn't wait to read the scripts — we'd shoot the show every Friday night, and right after we wrapped, we'd find the new script for Monday morning in our dressing room. I was just as excited to find out what was going to happen as I'm sure the audience was."
Are There Plans for a Friends Reboot Anytime Soon?
So far, Warner Bros. Television has no plans to do a reboot/remake of Friends, despite the current trend in Hollywood where the IP of past movies and TV shows is being exploited.
A few years before Perry's passing, all six cast members reunited for HBO Max's Friends: The Reunion special, which was celebrated by many fans and was unfortunately the last time that they were seen together in the same room.
Aniston is currently busy working on The Morning Show, which is currently airing its fourth season, and remains one of the most popular shows on Apple TV+. She is also attached to star and executive produce the TV series adaptation of the memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died.
