Netflix has teamed up with two major toy companies to release toys and merchandise for the global hit KPop Demon Hunters.

The animated musical film has become one of the biggest pop culture sensations this year. Not only has it nabbed the record of being the most viewed Netflix original movie of all time, but the songs and soundtrack have also topped the Billboard and Spotify charts and major trends on social media, especially on TikTok. There is no indication yet that its popularity will die down anytime soon.

Is Netflix Releasing Toys and Merchandise for KPop Demon Hunters?

Netflix announced that they have partnered with Hasbro and Mattel to introduce a range of toys, collectibles, games, role-play products, and other merchandise that will bring the world of KPop Demon Hunters to our homes.

"KPop Demon Hunters unleashed a global fan frenzy — we're talking dancing, singing, and more screaming than anyone was emotionally prepared for," said Netflix Chief Marketing Officer, Marian Lee, in the announcement.

"HUNTR/X showed us that a truly great trio is more than the sum of its parts. Netflix, Mattel, and Hasbro joining forces on this first-of-its-kind collaboration means fans can finally get their hands on the best dolls, games, and merchandise they've been not-so-subtly demanding on every social platform known to humanity. As Rumi, Mira, and Zoey say — for the fans!"

So far, the details regarding the toys and merchandise that they are planning to release are under wraps, but they are expected to arrive in stores worldwide sometime in 2026.

Hasbro is already lining up the release of Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters, which will combine the fast action of Monopoly Deal and the characters from the hit movie. It is set to release on January 1, 2026.

Is KPop Demon Hunters Getting a Sequel?

Reports confirmed that Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation are already in talks to move forward with a sequel for KPop Demon Hunters. Per the deal on the first film, the streamer cannot develop a follow-up without Sony's participation.

There are also preliminary talks to bring back directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans to work on the sequel. No official deal has been made yet.

previous report stated that Netflix already has massive franchise plans for KPop Demon Hunters, and it is being compared to how the Frozen franchise is to Disney.

They are eyeing two more sequels for the film (to complete the trilogy), a TV series spinoff, a stage musical, and a potential short film that will bridge the gap between the main films. A live-action remake is also being considered, but Kang has shot down the idea.
