Death Stranding, believe it or not, is coming out this year for the PS4 and we all can't wait to play it. Trying to describe the game is still a bit hard to do (it's open-world and you can also go back to World War 1 to fight zombie nazis?) but hey, Hideo Kojima is working on it and that means we're in for a trip.
As the game's release draws closer, Kojima surprised attendees in SDCC by showing them, not one, but two pieces of cover art for the game. The first is for the standard box, which has Norman Reedus' character in that suit we've been seeing him wear during the game's trailers. The second cover art is for a special steelbook case and it has the same character Reedus is portraying in the same position but without the helmet. Also, his face is filled with dirt.
Both covers look great and fans who pick up either one should be pleased with what they see. Whether they want Norman with the helmet or without one, fans can rest easy knowing that the game looks good for them. Granted, if they want both covers the players can just buy the upcoming collector's edition, which also has a great-looking statue.
Fans will be able to get Death Stranding on November 8, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
