Star Wars Reveals the First Jedi Didn’t Focus on the Light Side

Lucasfilm might have been keeping a tight lid on Star Wars; Episode IX's secrets, but now that Star Wars Celebration is fast approaching, Star Wars fans' itch for the new trailer for the film is at an all-time high. There hasn't been any direct confirmation just yet, but now Star Wars Celebration has just released its dates for its upcoming panels, and now we know what specific times to wait around.

Star Wars Celebration just released its schedules for its panels this year, and according to the post, Star Wars: Episode IX is getting its panel on April 12 at 11 Am Chicago time. Though the panel won't last very long, Star Wars fans have at least one hour to bombard Episode IX director J.J. Abrams with all sorts of questions. Not only that, but they're expecting the trailer to drop within that one-hour timeframe.

The word "surprises" should be enough of a sign for Episode IX's teaser. Lucasfilm won't leave its Star Wars fan base high and dry after such a long wait.

Major stars expected to appear it the event are Daisy Ridley (Rey), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Joh Boyega (Finn), and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren).

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres December 20, 2019.
