The Magic: The Gathering Mythic Invitational kicked off on Thursday and after 64 players battled it out in their double-elimination brackets, 16 players remain and will compete against each other in a new bracket on Saturday for their share of the $1 million prize pool. Now, Wizards of the Coast have revealed the Top 16 players on the Magic Esports Twitter page, and they include: Gabriel Nassif, Seth Manfield, Brittany Hamilton "MTGNerdGirl", Matthew Nass, Jessica Estephan, Ondrej Strasky, Edoardo, Annunziata, Amy Demicco "Amazonian", Luis Salvatto, Janne Mikkonen "Savjz", Reid Duke, David Nguyen "TheAsianAvenger", Piotr Glogowski, J-E Depraz, and Gregorz 'Ulrich' Kowalski.
It's good to see that the Top 16 is a diverse mix of Magic veteran pros, well-known streamers, and women. It's going to be an exciting weekend for Magic for sure.
