Hawkeye Confirms Lucky the Pizza Dog is NOT a Side Character

The first two episodes of Hawkeye are here and the series didn't waste time in getting straight into the action. We immediately got the answers to some of our questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe show, like how did Kate Bishop get the Ronin suit and who is the leader of the Tracksuit Mafia. However, the best thing about the two-episode premiere is that it confirmed Lucky the Pizza Dog is not a side character in the MCU series. SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In Hawkeye Episode 1, it is revealed that Lucky starts out as a stray who meets Kate outside a gala. It didn't take long before the pup gets on the wrong side of the road and is almost killed by the Tracksuit Mafia but Kate manages to save him.

It's the start of a beautiful friendship and fans are convinced that Lucky the Pizza Dog will play a larger role in Hawkeye. After all, would a side character get his own spin-off comic book?

Marvel has just announced Lucky the Pizza Dog #1, the Hawkeye spin-off comic focusing on everybody's favorite pooch. The comic is written and illustrated by Jason Loo and follows Lucky new adventures that also include Kate and Clint Barton. That's right, in this comic, they're Lucky's sidekicks!

Lucky the Pizza Dog #1 is available exclusively on the Marvel Unlimited app. If you're hoping to see more of his companions, there are also Clint Barton and Kate Bishop comics available on the app.

Hawkeye premiered with two episodes titled Never Meet Your Heroes and Hide and Seek. The first two episodes reveal how Clint and Kate ended up on the wrong side of the Tracksuit Mafia, who then captured and brought them to their leader, who is revealed to be Maya Lopez. Both episodes are now streaming on Disney+.
