Gwyneth Paltrow has been in a number of Marvel movies but she would have a hard time telling you which ones she's been in. The actress even thought that a scene she shot for Spider-Man: Far From Home was for some Avengers movie, which obviously wasn't the case. During an interview with Elle, Paltrow explained why she always forgets which Marvel movie she stars in.
In a funny bit, the actress explains that she "never reads stuff" and has a hard time keeping track of the Marvel movies released since there are so many. Paltrow also reveals that she hasn't seen a lot of Marvel movies, which might sound sacrilegious but when you consider how busy the actress can be, no one can blame her for that.
Here's what Paltrow had to say:
"I never read stuff. But it is confusing because there are so many Marvel movies, and to be honest, I haven't seen very many of them. It's really stupid and I'm sorry, but I'm a 47-year-old mother. I just got confused. There's so many of these wonderful Marvel interconnecting movies and I thought that it was an Avengers movie, but it was not."
To be honest, the actress acts so well in these movies that no one should care about the fact that she doesn't see them. I hope she ends up appearing again since it would be cool seeing Pepper help out Peter in whatever MCU Spider-Man 3 is called. Her appearing as Rescue in an all-female Avengers movie would also be cool.
Black Widow is the next MCU movie and will be coming out on May 1, 2020.
