We already know that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is happening but what are the chances that Thor will be joining the team in the highly anticipated sequel? Karen Gillan has just addressed the possibility and how it would affect the other members of the group.
Gillan recently spoke to The Los Angeles Times where she was asked if she would be interested in seeing Chris Hemsworth's Thor join their team in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Not surprisingly, the Jumanji 3 actress is already looking forward to how the Odinson will interact with the group's unofficial leader.
Of course, Gillan is referring to the new Thor that appeared in Avengers: Endgame, who had spent plenty of time being a bum. We certainly agree that it would be fun to see how the Asgardian will deal with his new friends.
Gillan also spoke up about James Gunn being reinstated as the director of Vol. 3. The former Doctor Who star confessed that she was delighted to be working with Gunn again.
We're certainly glad that Gunn will be working with his old team again soon. In the meantime, you can catch Gillan as Nebula in Avengers: Endgame.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to begin production in 2021.
