Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming as Rockstar Games already confirmed that they are working on the next mainline entry in the GTA series earlier this month, but no details about the highly-anticipated action-adventure game have been shared. Rockstar didn't reveal details about the game, platforms, or release date. There are rumors that claim that the next installment will take plays back to the modern-day Vice City, the game's fictional version of Miami. Now, a prominent insider from Rockstar Games has unveiled new information about the GTA 6 reveal trailer and when it will be released.
The latest report comes from Rockstar Games insider, Tez2, who's considered to be the most reliable and reputable source when it comes to Rockstar Games, and the source that reported the game being confirmed this year while all other GTA leakers and insiders were quiet.
Tez 2 reported that GTA 6 will be revealed in 2022. While the Rockstar Games Insider didn't share any additional details, but they noted that the trailer will be similar to the GTA 5 trailer, so don't expect a full CGI trailer that reveals a bunch of gameplay footage; it will likely show a "work-in-progress" version of GTA 6.
While Tez2 didn't reveal exactly when GTA 6 will be revealed this year, Rockstar Games is known for revealing its games in the fall season. GTA 5 was revealed on November 2, 2011, and Red Dead Redemption 2 was revealed on Oct. 20, 2016.

Of course, since nothing has officially been confirmed, treat this as rumors for now, but if Rockstar actually reveals the game this year, it will likely be released in 2024 (2023 at the earliest) if Rockstar repeats their pattern.
