Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4: Will Cersei Lannister Marry Euron Greyjoy?

Things are certainly not slowing down on Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3. After the Battle of Winterfell, it is now time for another war that could change everything about the Seven Kingdoms. But is Cersei Lannister desperate enough to marry Euron Greyjoy in the final season?

In The Long Night, the people of Winterfell had to fight off the Night King's undead army without the help of Cersei Lannister. Although there were hundreds (perhaps thousands) of casualties during the Battle of Winterfell, the living managed to succeed, thanks to Arya Stark. But what happens now that the Night King is dead?

The teaser for Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 confirms that there is no time to rest. While the North deals with the damage, Daenerys Targaryen makes it clear that she still has her eye on the Iron Throne and will immediately go after it. "We have won the Great War," she tells her people. "Now, we will win the last war."

Not surprisingly, the Northerners seem to be more enthusiastic about Daenerys' plans. It may have something to do with the Mother of Dragons fighting with them as they faced the army of the dead. However, it's also possible that Dany may have finally endeared herself to the people.

There isn't much to see in the preview but it also shows Cersei with Euron several times. At this point, it appears that the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms has decided to trust Euron and might even be considering marrying him. One scene shows Euron kneeling before Cersei in what might be a proposal.

But will Cersei actually consider marrying Euron? It's a weird thought considering that she isn't one who would be interested in sharing her power. For now, we can't confirm this theory so we recommend taking it with a grain of salt.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 45 will air on HBO on May 5.
