As always, Game of Thrones has brought about some strong reactions from the show's fans. However, the fourth episode of Season 8 is also getting some harsh comments from animal lovers over Ghost's heartbreaking moment.

It's a time for goodbyes all over again. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 was all about saying farewell to the victims of the Battle of Winterfell from the previous season. However, it was also about preparing for another war that will take place in King's Landing.
Jon Snow certainly took his time saying goodbye to his friends. He made sure to exchange some words with Tormund Giantsbane, who was bringing the wildlings back to the North of the Wall. Jon asked Tormund to bring Ghost with him so the direwolf could be free before speaking with Samwell Tarly and Gilly, learning that they might have a son they plan to name after Jon. Then Jon simply stared at Ghost then left without saying goodbye to his longtime companion.
It's a shocking move that left fans completely distressed by the cold way that Jon was treating Ghost.
Some believe that Ghost might follow Jon to King's Landing just so he could bite him for being a bad owner.
Jon lost some fans simply because he couldn't give the goodest of boys (who lost an ear to the Battle of Winterfell, by the way) a few moments or belly rubs.
We're certainly sad for Ghost who didn't even get a pet goodbye or even just a wave from Jon. Nevertheless, we're hoping this isn't the last time that we see the direwolf. Maybe he will follow Jon to the South just to bite him after all.
