Considering that Sophie Turner practically grew up on the set of Game of Thrones, it's understandable why it would be uncomfortable filming with your former on-screen sibling. The actress admitted that the thought of kissing her A-List co-star almost made her "retch" for the new movie. Find out here who it is.

Can You Imagine Sansa Stark in a Budding Romance with Jon Snow?

Kit Harington's Jon Snow may have been the epitome of a gentleman on Game of Thrones, but Sophie Turner is not finding it easy to brush off their familial relationship in the eight-season series, even more so now that they have been paired up for an upcoming movie, The Dreadful.

"I have to be honest," the 29-year-old prepped her joke on the Late Night with Seth Meyers, "It was bad."

"I sent the script to Kit," Turner recalled, "He kind of sent me a message back, like, 'Yeah, I'd love to, but this is gonna be really f***ing weird."

At first, Turner had no idea what he was talking about, until she flipped through the script and realized The Dreadful meant they had to share intimate scenes together.

"Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex," the Trust star jotted as she recalled practically highlighting their intimate scenes from the script, "I was like, 'Oh shoot. That's my brother.' But it was such a good script that he was like, 'We kind of have to do it.'"

Turner and Harington have played onscreen half-siblings, Sansa Stark and Jon Snow, in the HBO series between 2011 and 2019, and so, it's understandable that even Kit would find their kissing scene weird. In fact, both were "retching" while filming their first kissing scene.

Turner added that this was a "really bad moment" in her "vile" acting journey.

What is Sophie Turner and Kit Harington's The Dreadful Movie About?

There are no official trailers out for The Dreadful yet, but the plotline has been revealed: the movie will follow Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law, Morwen (Marcia Gay Harden), who live a secluded life on the outskirts of society.

The 15th-century film will collide Anne and Morwen with Harington's "strange (unnamed) man" who will "set off a sequence of events that become a turning point" in the story.

As weird as it is to witness the actors for Sansa Stark and Jon Snow in a different light, plenty of Game of Thrones stars worked on other projects that were far from their previous characters' dynamics.

Carice Van Houten (Melisandre) and Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) played lovers in Black Butterflies, which told the story of South African poet Ingrid Jonker. Jim Broadbent, Natalia Tena, Ralph Ineson, and David Bradley starred alongside each other in the Harry Potter franchise.

Let's not forget the two best female heroines, Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) and Brienna of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), both of whom appeared in the final Hunger Games chapter.
