How to Get Free VALORANT Points From Riot Games

VALORANT Points (VP), the main currency VALORANT players use to purchase the current act's battle pass, Radianite Points (RP), weapon skins, and other in-game cosmetics are not cheap, so players always try to spend them wisely in the game, but they can still fall short of purchasing a skin they've been waiting for. That's why it's not surprising that many players want to find out how they can acquire free VPs.

Thankfully, players can get free VPs, reportedly up to 50, through Riot Games' support channels desk.

Many League of Legends players may recall Reddit threads made by talented artists claiming they were gifted small amounts of Riot Points after submitting an artwork. This had been an unofficial method to acquire some free RP up until 2016 when Riot finally made it official.

You don't have to create a masterpiece to get free VPs, but there should be signs of effort on your artwork.

Here's how you can submit your creation to Riot Games, and potentially get free VPs.

Before you make a first step to sending your creation, of course, you have to make an artistic creation relevant to VALORANT; you can draw, paint, do voice acting, let your imagination run wild. Once you have a creative project you can submit, here are the steps:

1. Open a support ticket through the VALORANT support page.
2. Choose either "General" or "Puchase & In-Game Content" as your ticket's category.
3. Attach your creation and write a thoughtful message explaining how you created your submission.
4. Click send, and hope you can get some free VPs

Note that you can only ask up to 50 VPs, but it's unclear if there's a limit to how many artworks you can submit.

Once Riot decides to give you free VPs, you should be able to see the currency added to your VALORANT account. However, don't expect to afford premium weapon skins or any full bundles with that amount.

Some players reportedly received the rare Riot fist bump buddy after submitting their art, but you might need to get in touch with one of VALORANT's developers to get a hold of one.

Riot recently revealed the 2022 Ion weapon skin bundle, which consists of new weapon skins for Vandal, Ares, Spectre, Frenzy, and a Karambit Melee. Unlike the first Ion bundle, the new weapon skins have color variants that players can unlock with RP.

VALORANT Giveaways

You can also try to win free VALORANT Points or weapon skin bundles by joining giveaways on social media. Valorant Source on Twitter will be doing more giveaways for VALORANT goodies.

If you're still craving for more VPs, you can ask your friends or family to buy you a VALORANT gift card.
