Fantastic Beasts: JK Rowling Discusses Dumbledore and Grindelwald's 'Passionate' Relationship

LGBTQ fans of Harry Potter were thrilled when J.K. Rowling announced that Dumbledore identified as gay, though some wondered what the point of that reveal was when it would never be explored. The Fantastic Beasts films seemed like a good excuse to explore this, especially after it was revealed that Dumbledore and Grindelwald would be in the second film.

However, fans were sad that the relationship was not explored more in the sequel, though there were teases of Dumbledore's love for him. Then again, fans were mostly sad about the movie not being good, being a giant mess. Did anyone actually like Crimes of Grindelwald?

Anyway, Rowling is at it again, discussing the relationship between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. In a featurette for Fantastic Beats: The Crimes of Grindelwald (via Gay Times), Rowling claimed that the relationship was intense and passionate, implying that a lot of lovemaking was made. That should make the fans happy (not that it'll ever be explored).

Fantastic Beasts 3 does not have a release date yet, with reports claiming that it's been delayed. Here is hoping that it's gayer, or, at the least, a good movie.
