The Euphoria Season 3 trailer is here, and fans will finally see Rue, Cassie, and the rest of the gang back on the small screen after nearly four years.

As Rue declares, “We’re not in Kansas anymore,” the characters are now out of high school, stepping into adulthood after a five-year time jump, with scenes spanning Mexico, Hollywood, and Los Angeles.

With so much new territory to explore, the trailer leaves fans with plenty of questions and here are the ones we need answered.

Why Rue and Maddy Together

Rue and Maddy

One of the trailer’s first scenes shows Maddy talking to Rue in a room. The latter appears to be high once again after relapsing, sitting in her bedroom closet.

But knowing these two haven’t been close friends since the show began, it raises a big question: why are they together

Are they now close after graduating from high school, or are they living together as they navigate adult life?

Nate has tied the knot with Cassie in Euphoria Season 3, and their marital bliss quickly turns into chaos.

In fact, it looks like Nate still has feelings for Maddy. After Cassie tells her husband that Maddy is helping her create OnlyFans content, Nate asks, “My Maddy?” still referring to his ex as “my.” Cassie reminds Nate that she and Maddy were BFFs long before he entered their lives, hinting that Nate may still have unresolved feelings toward Maddy.

It looks like Rue isn’t the only one being hunted by criminals. From the trailer, it appears that Nate also has criminal ties, with his windows being shattered.

A man threatening him at his wedding reception is also shown, alongside a scene where he’s bloodied and begging for mercy.

As Rue and Nate seem to be involved with the mafia, do all of them actually have criminal connections?

Where are Rosalía & Trisha Paytas?

Sure, the Euphoria Season 3 trailer has shown the leads, but where are the big supporting stars?

The show has cast some of the biggest names in the industry this season, including Grammy-winning Latin singer Rosalía and the infamous YouTuber Trisha Paytas, yet neither of them appears in the new trailer.

As Rosalía will play a dancer in a club and Trisha takes on a new role, fans are surely eager to see these two join Rue and the rest of the cast.

Who Will Die?

Euphoria is known for not being afraid to kill off characters, including a 14-year-old teenager last season.

So, as Ali is shown in the hospital, Nate gets his teeth knocked out, and Rue seemingly survives actual murder attempts, the trailer appears to hint at another death in Season 3.

Hopefully, this time, it won’t be one of the fan favorites.

Euphoria Season 3 will premiere on April 12, 2026, on HBO.
