Eternals: Concept Art Gives Us a Look at Other Colossal Celestials

Besides Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Marvel Studios is going into unfamiliar territory with Eternals. With the big Hall H panel last weekend, we have some concept art of what looks to be other massive Celestials.

Check them out:

Though they've been a mainstay in the Marvel comics for a while, the Celestials were introduced in the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. The Collector shows us a clip of one of the Celestials wielding the Power Stone and it's also worth noting that the giant floating head Knowhere was the severed head of a Celestial.

We don't really know how large a part they will play in the film, but it's said that they are the ones responsible for creating the Eternals. No doubt these Celestials could also open the door for an MCU arrival of Galactus, which some are hoping is the next big bad after Thanos; then again, I would be fine if he was the sole villain for a Fantastic Four film down the line.

As for the Eternals, it was said that they were created a thousand years ago to help defend Earth from a group of beings called the Deviants. The Eternals are being led by Richard Madden's Ikaris. Other cast members include Angelina Jolie (Thena), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Don Lee (Gilgamesh), and Bryan Tyree Henry (Phastos).

On a side note, there isn't any mention of Keanu Reeves, so the talks with him probably didn't push through. Everyone can also shut up about Millie Bobby Brown supposedly getting cast and just denying it to get out of trouble.

I'll admit, I'm not the most excited person for Eternals, but I'm sure I'll get on board once we get the first trailer for the film.

Eternals is set to come out Nov. 6, 2020.
