Dunkirk and Chernobyl Star Being Eyed for Eternals as Well

News has just dropped that Captain Marvel's Gemma Chan is being eyed to play a completely new character for Eternals, but the movie is also looking at another actor to join the cast.

As per Collider, the movie is currently looking at Dunkirk's Barry Keoghan for an unknown role. No details have been released about who Marvel wants Keoghan to play, but we do know that he would be joining an all-star cast that would include the likes of Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Bryan Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Lia McHugh, Kumail Nanjiani, and Don Lee.

For now, Keoghan is still in talks to come on board, but I have a feeling he's going to land the gig eventually.

So far, we don't have a good overview of what Eternals is going to be about, but it has been implied that we'll follow the story of some ancient beings hundreds of years before the events of the established MCU. We know that the gigantic Celestials are going to be a part of the show, and it could be possible that we could get an introduction to Galactus or maybe even the giant floating head that becomes Knowhere from Guardians of the Galaxy.

This is just wishful thinking on my part, but I think it would be cool if Keoghan ends up being cast as the very first Nova—the one who eventually kickstarts the Nova Corps. The comics don't really have a character that originated the Nova Force, so I think that opens up a lot of room for creativity.

Marvel's Eternals is set to come out Nov. 6, 2020.
