Dragon Ball Super: Broly will have a special panel at this weekend's New York Comic-Con but the film's director's scheduled appearance has been cancelled.
On Twitter, Funimation announced that director Tatsuya Nagamine won't show up in New York Comic-Con due to unforeseen circumstances.
While fans looking forward to seeing the director at the event may be disappointed, at least other members of the film's staff will be able to attend. Akio Iyoku and Horihiro Hayashida will be part of the special panel in addition to Goku's voice actress Masako Nozawa and Goku's English dub voice actor Sean Schemmel.

Dragon Ball Super is available for streaming on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. It's also available to stream on FunimationNOW and Amazon. The upcoming Dragon Ball Super film will be released in Japan on December 14 and it's expected to be released in US sometime in January 2019.
