Doctor Doom Movie is in Limbo, Will it Come to the MCU?

Fans have had a mixed reaction to Disney acquiring Fox, especially since it will reportedly finish this week. While Marvel fans are happy knowing that The Fantastic Four and X-Men will soon appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, others are worried about the state of Hollywood, since they want other movies to come out and make the business more competitive. You know, actually important things.

Noah Howley, who many love thanks to FX's Legion, was working on a Doctor Doom movie but has recently confirmed that the movie is currently in limbo, which is pretty sad. Many were hoping to see a good version of the character after four terrible Fantastic Four movies have done him wrong. That being said, Howley did share some good news: he met up with Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Howley revealed that he met with Marvel and Feige. They asked him if he was still working on the Doctor Doom movie and Howley asked if he should still be working on it. Nothing else was revealed beyond that but we would love to see what he does with the mad doctor.

Doctor Doom has played the role of hero and villain multiple times, showing just how complex and flexible his character is. While some are bummed that he is basically a bad guy again, it won't be too long before he sides with the good guys again.

As of this writing, don't expect much news on the Doctor Doom movie.
