Disney+'s Moon Knight will Allegedly Build Up to the Blade Reboot

Though Marvel has officially announced the Disney+ series for Moon Knight as well as the Blade reboot, we have yet to get official release dates for both projects. What's interesting though is that a rumor suggests that the former will be building up to the latter plot-wise.

According to HN Entertainment, this was confirmed by insider Daniel Richtman via his Patreon page. Though Richtman has been right several times before, it's still good to get this news with a grain of salt, granted that both projects are still in early development and things could change.

If anything, it seems logical that the two heroes could be connected. Both are heroes who have a strong affinity with the night time, and it's likely that Marvel could be teaming up both Blade and Moon Knight for some kind of "Marvel Knights" team-up.

While general audiences have yet to see Moon Knight onscreen, I hope they do something interesting when it comes to Mahershala Ali's Blade. I know a lot of people love Wesley Snipes' version with the trench coat and swords, but I think by now Blade is a template for you modern-day mall ninja. Hopefully, Marvel Studios goes with a less Matrix-y look for their reboot, but then again, it's just my opinion.

No release dates have been announced for Moon Knight and Blade, but it's likely that these projects could come out sometime in 2022, during Marvel Phase 5.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier comes out in the fall of 2020. Disney+ is now available.
