Huda Mustafa is not just a girl's girl, but her secret signature scent earned plenty of compliments from castmates in the Love Island USA villa. What perfume is she using, and did she really sell it on TikTok? Here's what we found out!
What Perfume is Huda Mustafa Wearing in Love Island USA?
Huda Mustafa, one of the most prominent contestants this season 7 of Love Island USA, is far more than just a young mother with a pretty face.
Considering how often she'd gotten attention for her unique fragrance on set, even avid fans on TikTok are hoping to get her secret out there while the spotlight is on her. Lo and behold, she did not disappoint.
Huda refused to gatekeep and shared in one episode that her perfume was "It's that Lattafa perfume", which is an Arabian perfume brand that is sold in the Middle East.
According to the brand, the perfume is made to be long-lasting and potent, to "create world-class fragrances that reflect the richness of Arabian heritage", which surprisingly makes sense given how Huda managed to get their attention despite the Fiji heat and drama in the villa.
That said, now that Huda's secret is out, a video of her on TikTok went viral after claiming that she's selling the same scent on the platform to curious fans. But here's the truth behind that story.
Is She Really Selling Her Perfume on TikTok? How Did She Scam Fans?
Earlier this week, the viral video showed Huda Mustafa in a GRWM (Get Ready with Me) look on LIVE, while sharing her secret scent with online fans.
"People keep asking me what perfume I wear, so I'm just going to tell you guys," Huda appeared to have said on the video, "It's Angham, I think, by Lattafa. It literally smells just like B-burry Goddess but better. It's so f***ing fire."
But here's the thing. If you watched the entire clip closely, you can notice that the way her eyes and lips moved, particularly how cartoonish her mouth looked in some angles.
Sorry to say, but this is not the real Huda, but rather an AI-generated version of her, allegedly trying to scam fans into buying "her" scent that she's notable for on Love Island USA.
The scam unfortunately caught too much attention, reaching Teen Vogue's threshold, and several fans lost their money to an unverified truth.
As of writing, neither Huda nor the Lattafa brand has yet to release their statement on this online AI scam. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
