The Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack will feature a song from Hugh Jackman's hit 2017 musical film The Greatest Showman.
Fans have been looking forward to the upcoming MCU installment since it will mark Jackman's long-awaited return as Wolverine and team up with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool in a multiversal adventure.
As we've seen in the trailers and TV spots that they released so far, Deadpool and Wolverine will embrace its R-rated tone and poke fun at the current state of the MCU and Jackman's comeback in his iconic role.

The choice of using "The Greatest Show" from The Greatest Showman is intriguing since it indicates that they might be poking fun at Jackman's beloved film and we know that Deadpool can get away with that kind of joke.
It is also possible that there is a brief musical number at some point in the film that uses the song, and it would be a hilarious breaking-the-fourth-wall gag that audiences might laugh at.
After all, Reynolds already poked fun at Jackman's role in The Greatest Showman in a recent interview.
"I know for a fact he's the one who named that movie. The Greatest Showman. Why not just call the movie Super Awesome Hugh Jackman?" he jokingly said.
"I think it's pathetic and disgusting that he called the movie that. And I think it's pathetic and disgusting that he insists people call him The Greatest Showman everywhere he goes, including you, just young, impressionable kids. Goodness gracious."
It is exciting to see how it all plays out in the film and, hopefully, the gag lives up to the hype once we know the entire context of the joke.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
