Deadpool and Wolverine's Cameo Actors Show Up in SDCC Panel
Last night, Marvel Studios held a special Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con in celebration of the release of Deadpool and Wolverine. They also showed the entire film to the audience.
Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, and Shawn Levy were in attendance at the event. They also joined the audience during the screening of the film.
The panel ended with Reynolds introducing the actors who made surprise cameos to the stage: Dafne Keen (X-23), Jennifer Garner (Elektra), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm), Channing Tatum (Gambit), and Wesley Snipes (Blade).
The actors' entrance was met with rapturous response from fans. Tatum is also notably wearing the same shirt that he wore when his canceled Gambit project was announced at San Diego Comic-Con back in 2015.
It is also worth noting that Reynolds introduced Snipes by calling him his "friend." There have been rumors for many years that there is a feud between them due to their alleged tumultuous working experience in Blade: Trinity.
This is a nice treat for many fans who were in attendance at the event since this is Marvel Studios' first acknowledgment of the surprise cameos and the actors look happy to be on the stage.
The only missing in the lineup is Henry Cavill, who made a cameo appearance as a Wolverine variant. Hopefully, we will get to hear his thoughts about his surprise MCU involvement soon.
Deadpool and Wolverine is now showing in theaters everywhere.
