Marvel Studios has dropped the final trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine, and it confirmed the long-rumored return of a fan-favorite character from Logan.
In just one week, fans will finally be able to watch the highly-anticipated MCU film that will bring back Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and team up with Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool in a multiversal adventure.
For the past several months, we've been hearing rumors about the actors from the Fox movies that will appear in the film. Marvel Studios remains mum on the surprise cameos, but the new trailer has confirmed a major return that will hype a lot of fans.
Deadpool and Wolverine Final Trailer Confirms Dafne Keen's Return
The final trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine was released today, and it gave us our new look at the titular heroes' multiversal adventure in the MCU.
While most of the footage was already shown in the previous trailers and TV spots that were released so far, we got the long-awaited confirmation that Logan's Dafne Keen is returning as X-23.
She was seen having an exchange with Wolverine in front of a campfire telling him, "You were always the wrong guy till you weren't."
For the past several months, it's been heavily rumored that Keen will be reprising her Logan role in the film, but the actress denied her involvement during her press tour for The Acolyte.
As it turns out, she was just hiding her involvement and now we have the official confirmation that she will be making an appearance in the film.
"I had a great time keeping it secret. I had to do a bunch of press for a job that I just finished. I got asked in every interview, and I just got to lie, which was really funny," Keen said in a recent interview regarding how she kept her Deadpool and Wolverine cameo a secret.
She added that Andrew Garfield served as her inspiration for hiding her involvement in the film. "He is the master at this," she remarked.
It is exciting to see how Keen's return as X-23 will play out in the film, and what other surprise cameos they have in store since they are likely hiding more A-list names.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
